Purpose/Objectives of the club:
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
ie. To promote inclusion for students with special needs.
Membership Requirements:
Apply online for approval by Best Buddies International. Buddies are paired in a one-on-one friendship and are required to participate in monthly club activities and asked to do activities with their "Buddy" outside of school. Associate members attend club meetings and functions but are not paired in a one-on-one friendship.
