Exam Fees
Exam Fees
IB sets the fees for participation in the Diploma Program. These fees are collected by the schools and forwarded to the IBO. These fees cover the costs of curriculum design and revision; administration of the program; external moderation of student work done in the school; and the creation, dissemination, and scoring of criterion-referenced examinations that are the focus of the Diploma Program. All exam fees are due by October 15 of the student’s senior year. All IB exam fees are non-refundable. Substantial charges are levied by IB for fees received after the October 15 deadline.
The following represents fees for the 2020 exam session:
Certificate Candidates
- Subject Fee $119 (per subject)
- Processing Fee $ 35 (per exam session)
Total Certificate Candidate (taking 1 exam) $154
Total Certificate Candidate (taking 2 exams) $273
Total Certificate Candidate (taking 3 exams) $392
Full Diploma Candidates
- Subject Fee: $119 (per subject)
- Processing Fee: $ 35 (per exam session)
Total Diploma Candidate taking 6 exams: $749
Payment for IB exams is due by October 15.
Payment MUST be in cash, money order, or cashier’s check.
Exam fees are not refundable.
